Other Programs Available
You’re ready to earn your Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) through our accelerated program if you have a non-nursing bachelor’s degree or higher. Through the College of Nursing’s accelerated BSN degree program, you can do that in just 12 months in Omaha, Hastings or Phoenix. Join our community of healers and leaders in one of the nation’s most successful and longest running accelerated nursing programs. Our fully accredited program recognizes and builds on your past education and experiences. Classes start each January and August on the Omaha and Phoenix campuses. January classes are also available on our campus in Hastings, Nebraska.
With a population of nearly 1 million in the greater Omaha area, you’ll find a dynamic, energetic city that is continually transforming itself. Omaha is known for its cultural diversity, work ethic and friendliness. You’ll have access to exceptional hands-on learning experiences, including with CHI Health, the area’s largest healthcare provider.
For more than 30 years, Creighton University has had a campus in Hastings at Mary Lanning Healthcare to provide nursing education for students in Central Nebraska. To address the critical need for nurses in Nebraska, we offer two programs in Hastings:
- 12-month Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program
- 3+1 program: Operated jointly by the College of Nursing, Hastings College and Mary Lanning Healthcare, this program allows students to get the full Hastings College experience for three years before commencing Creighton’s Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
